First Pipe Rehab SPR™EX Project in Florida

Spiral Wound Lining has made it’s way into Jacksonville, Florida. The Florida DOT’s Wonderwood Parkway rehabilitation project has begun with Michels Corporation scheduled to rehabilitate nearly 12,000 LF of 15″ – 36″ pipe.

The SPR™EX fully structural spiral wound liner is restoring the strength of these pipes, while Michels is using trenchless installation to minimize traffic disruption. Installation is able to occur without bypass, and in some cases doing more than one line in a day, due to the efficiency of SPR™EX.
